Omni-

This week my class has been learning about some of the characteristics of God, and so we've been going through the omni's.

We learned that omni- is a Latin prefix that means all or always.  So I challenged my kids to write a poem using the prefix omni- and attaching it to a word that they believe the Lord has done in their life.

This was one of my students' poems, and I thought it was so beautiful.  This kid isn't one of my strongest writers but one of my more "spiritually mature" students, and the way he can so beautifully put what God means to him is so awesome!

God is omnipresent.
He is the omni-light to us.
God's blood is an omni-key, to an omni-kingdom.
His promise is omni-kept and never forgotten.
God is an omni-father to all the living things.
His voice is an omni-command to all living things.
God is omni-mighty.

I love being able to teach in a Christian school!

  1. Hello Meg, I randomly found your site while just "googling" for the Faith School. I briefly met you back in Sept. 10 when I visited Sharon who I met for the first time. But I enjoy reading your blog and adventures. Thanks for the awesome work that you do!
